We have been using Activ Absence for little over a year now. We had looked at many different holiday management systems and Activ seemed prefect for us. It’s such a user friendly system and our employees, and managers, are very happy with it. The system couldn’t be simpler to use.
You can see instantly if a holiday request will cause any conflicts. You can also use the system “on the go” on your mobile or tablet.
The initial set up was painless too. The Helpdesk are always there if needed. I would certainly recommend Activ Absence to any size company.
I found that the functionality and aesthetics/how the software works was simple but effective and the most cost effective provider I found (without sacrificing quality). We are potentially looking to use Activ Appraisals in the future.
The level of helpdesk support is also really good, with issues being logged and resolved within hours, so generally really pleased

We have been using Activ Absence for over 5 years now. It has clearly lifted the burden of employee leave management by streamlining the whole process. Great for monitoring staff leave and absence reports. Helpdesk are also brilliant and efficient. We have found Activ Absence invaluable, we run 2 sites so could not envisage life without it! The busy clinicians also find the study day recording a useful tool as a reminder system.
We started using Activ Absence in October 2017. Set up was relatively easy with lots of support and advice provided by the help desk.
We were looking for a system that streamlined requests for planned absence and one that also helped us to manage the sickness absence process. Staff have adapted to the new system really well and the online forms and email prompts are really useful for keeping everyone informed about what they need to do.
The system keeps SLT informed about staffing and the cover supervisor knows what requests are being made in advance to help anticipate any cover needs. From an administrative point of view it’s easy to keep track of what is outstanding. The help desk is friendly, knowledgeable and, in my experience, is usually able to fix any issues really quickly
Trying to keep track of absence within a school was more of a nightmare that I had originally imagined. We wanted an easy to use, no nonsense system that was intuitive and an asset rather than a hindrance and that is exactly what we got when we signed up to Activ Absence.

Accessing the information that we need from a HR perspective is amazingly simple, and the alerts that are sent through to line managers are such a useful tool. The data is transparent so any individual can see their own records and logging absence or leave requests are so simple that training is not required.
Everything is pretty much a couple of clicks and you can’t get things wrong so the fear that is normally associated with new systems just does not exist with this one.
I would recommend Activ Absence to any type of organisation regardless of size, it’s fully versatile and easy, exactly what you want from a system and more!
